Spring has Sprung – The trees and flowers are blooming and the grass is green!
Come out and join us at our 2016 Spring General Meeting this Saturday, April 30th at the Ludeman Center, 114 Orchard Drive, Building 64, Park Forest, Illinois. We will be serving refreshments starting at 11:30 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 12:00 Noon.
The Ludeman Dream Gardeners have been busy planting seeds and growing spring flowers. The Ludeman Dream Gardeners staff will be available so you can place your order for flowering hanging baskets, herbs, other plants, and exotic flowers. Come and support the work that the residents have been doing for spring!
Illinois Representative Anthony DeLuca, District 80, is our guest speaker. Representative DeLuca will give us an update on Springfield happenings as well as his position on supporting the Intellectually Disabled community.
Illinois Senator Michael Hastings was called to New York on government business, and had to cancel his speaking engagement for the meeting. He sends his best wishes and hopefully will be available to speak at one of our future General Meetings.
