April 20, 2020 Ludeman COVID-19 Status Update
In order to keep you informed of the COVID-19 status at the Ludeman Center, PFLC will be posting updates as we are notified by the Administration. As of April 20th the statistics remain the same as our April 18th and 19th report:
* Ludeman Residents: 96 tested positive. 11 tested negative.
* Ludeman Staff: 29 tested positive. 3 tested negative.
* 16 of 38 occupied Ludeman Homes have individuals that tested positive.
As many of you are aware, the Illinois Governor has deployed 22 National Guard resources to be on-site today at the Ludeman Center to assist with wellness checks and other assigned duties.
Staff Wellness checks are being conducted before reporting to their assignment.

I am very impressed with the transparency re: the numbers of residents/staff who have tested positive or died. My experience with other healthcare facilities, is that such info. is often kept under wraps but you are making sure friends/family are kept abreast.

Thank you! The last few days we have not been getting an update, and I am in communication with the Center and Springfield to get the daily status information.
As soon as we receive the updated statistics we will compile the information and post as soon as possible.
