Ludeman has tested all residents at the Ludeman Center for COVID-19.  Ludeman will notify families of the testing process and results. NOTE: We do not anticipate receiving a report going forward on Sundays.

The State of Illinois has also provided a link with daily updates regarding the Ludeman Center and other facilities.

IDHS COVID-19 Data & Frequently Asked Questions

* Ludeman Residents:  202 tested positive.  111 have recovered. 196 tested negative. 0 pending results.                     NOTE: Some individuals have been tested more than once.                                         
* Ludeman Staff: 117 tested positive. 80 Recovered and Returned to Work, and are also aware 98 employees have tested negative.
* 35 of 38 occupied Ludeman Homes have individuals that have been tested for COVID-19.

Staff Wellness checks are being conducted before reporting to their assignment.

May 20, 2020 Ludeman COVID-19 Status

* Ludeman Residents:  202 tested positive.  38 have recovered. 142 tested negative. 0 pending results.                   NOTE: Some individuals have been tested more than once.
* Ludeman Staff: 117 tested positive. 77 Recovered and Returned to Work, and are also aware 95 employees have tested negative.
* 35 of 38 occupied Ludeman Homes have individuals that have been tested for COVID-19.

Hello PFLC Family and Friends,

Allison Stark, Director, Division of Developmental Disabilities, Illinois Department of Human Services, has collaborated with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) to issue guidelines regarding support persons in Health Care Facilities (Including Hospitals).

This is a significant step in making sure our loved ones are supported by a guardian, family member, caregiver, or paid support worker if they are transported or admitted from a facility to a health care facility.

Please read the attached letter from Dr. Ngozi O. Ezike, MD, Director, Illinois Department of Public Health.

We received the following COVID-19 testing results information from the Ludeman Center.    Of note, the testing results did not change from the 8^th through the 10^th.
