Hello Parents and Friends of Ludeman Center,
The VOR – Voice of Reason is a national organization that supports the mission to continue providing and improving services for our loved ones that are diagnosed with I/DD (Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled).
There are legislative efforts going on now to reduce the services and sheltered workshops for our I/DD loved ones. VOR is asking us to support their efforts and to reach out to our federal and state legislators regarding sustaining services and workshop environments for the I/DD community.
PFLC is asking that you send your legislators a letter that states the value of these services and reducing services would cause undue harm to your loved ones – especially those that live in an ICF (Intermediate Care Facility). The Elisabeth Ludeman Center is categorized as an ICF, so it is especially important that our legislators hear from us.
