PFLC – July 17, 2020: Elisabeth Ludeman Center Visitation Suspension

July 17, 2020: Elisabeth Ludeman Center Visitation Suspension

It is with great sadness that the Elizabeth Ludeman Center has announced the suspension of visitation for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have some new positive staff cases not residents, however our guidance attached states that staff or residents, means we have to suspend all visitation. (See the link to the document below, Item #2).  The Ludeman Center cannot have ANY homes in isolation.  Three homes have been placed in isolation due to positive staff cases that supported these homes.

The Ludeman Center has provided about twenty Facetime and Zoom video chats in the past week and the families are loving it. Be sure to schedule your opportunity to video chat with your loved one by contacting Sandy Vanoskey at 708-283-3893 or Sandra.Vanoskey@illinois.gov.
